Being a SENCO
Audience: PVCI Practitioners (Day Nurseries, Pre-Schools and Childminders) who have a SENCO role
Aim:

Examine early identification of children with additional needs in your setting

Expand practitioners knowledge around breaking down skills into achievable small steps

Provide the tools needed to write clear, descriptive targets

Explore how to manage SEND Provision appropriately
It is recommended that all SENCOs join the SENCO Network to keep updated on current practices.
Course length/sessions: 1 x 2 hour session
Cost: £35 for City Providers
£45 for Out of City Providers
Venue: Online via Microsoft Teams
The course will support SENCOs to understand their responsibilities to children with SEND and the setting’s approach to identifying and meeting SEND.
Please note - A certificate of attendance can only be issued once you have attended both 'Being a SENCO' & 'New to the SENCO Role'.
