EYFSP Initial Data Briefing

This initial briefing session will share key data messages from the latest EYFSP data.  School Leaders, Reception and Year One Class Teachers are invited to join the session collectively, along with any other Subject or Phase Leaders, to compare school and local data. 

The session will provide opportunities for professional dialogue between Reception and Year One colleagues, providing time to interpret and better understand school cohort data and enable staff to plan and prepare for a smooth and successful transition, as described in the EYFSP Handbook.  The session will also support Year One colleagues to understand the needs of their incoming September cohort, so they have the opportunity to consider any support or adaptations necessary, particularly for those children who did not achieve a Good Level of Development. This will support our Best Start in Life Strategy and support reaching our GLD target of 72.6% by June 2028.
