Maths - Developing Early Number Sense 3-4 years
Audience: Specifically for Practitioners working with 3–4 year-olds in Pre-Schools in the PVI Sector or Nursery
Aim: To develop practitioners’ understanding of Early Number Sense and support them to understand how to develop a mathematically engaging environment
Course length/sessions: 1 x 3 hour session
Cost: £35 for City Providers
£45 for Out of City Providers
Venue: Nottingham Nursery School
The session will enable you to develop your understanding of early number sense and help you consider the many ways to teach maths within your setting. It will enable you to reflect on how your learning environment engages children and builds practitioner confidence and knowledge to support purposeful mathematical interactions and learning.
The session is designed to be interactive and practical to provide ideas and resources which can be taken back and used directly with the children.
