Positive Children, Positive Behaviour - Inspired Children (Ben Kingston-Hughes)

Audience: Practitioners working in PVI Settings and Schools
Aim: The course is designed to help us to understand what children are trying to communicate with their behaviour so that we can better guide them towards pro-social behaviour and ultimately help them thrive.

The course explores why traditional behaviour methods do not work with young children and gives a firm grounding in the neuroscience of behaviour to better understand even the most unusual of behaviour patterns. The course also details how children “learn” behaviour in the first place and explores how our adult behaviour directly impacts on the behaviour of our young children.
