Reception Agreement Trialling
Audience: Specifically for Nottingham City Practitioners working with Rising 5's in the PVI Sector or Reception Class in Schools, regardless of the non-statutory documentation being used.
Aim: To facilitate accurate assessment, linked to the Best Start in Life GLD target by sharing best practice, building practitioner confidence, promoting consistent assessment and addressing misconceptions.
Course length/sessions: 1x 3 hours session per term, AM & PM session offered per term, 6 sessions across the year.
Cost: Free for Nottingham City Providers Only
Venue: AM online session via Microsoft Teams,
PM F2F session at the Indian Community Centre
Nottingham City Early Years Team will be offering termly agreement trialling.
These sessions provide EYFS updates, both local and national, and provide targeted CPD linked to our data outcomes. The sessions enable practitioners to form accurate judgements, which will ensure confident assessments to support the statutory EYFSP process.
These sessions will focus on professional discussion and sharing good practice, they may also provide reassurance and an opportunity to ask any questions.
These sessions will also share DfE endorsed materials linked to the LA responsibility of supporting accurate EYFSP assessment.
