In today’s ever-changing early years landscape, effective leaders need more than management skills—they need the ability to inspire, adapt, and empower. This session aims to engage busy managers and leaders with the tools to confidently support their teams through change, balancing leadership with day-to-day demands.
Participants will explore how to nurture and inspire teams by understanding and responding to how the Characteristics of Effective Learning can support staff to develop curiosity, motivation, and reflective practice. The session highlights how recognising these characteristics in adults can strengthen professional growth and improve outcomes across settings.
We will explore how to build skills to foster resilience, encourage a culture of honest, reflective feedback, and focus on strengths while promoting continuous professional development. Practical strategies will also support you in managing difficult conversations with confidence and empathy.
Designed to energise and refocus, this session will help you create a workplace where staff feel valued, engaged, and motivated to succeed—so you and your team can truly flourish, enjoy, and thrive together.
